%26gt;his thoughts are particularly poignant. Last week there was an


%26gt;immigration overpopulation conference in Washington, DC, filled to


%26gt;capacity by many of American's finest minds and leaders. A brilliant


%26gt;college professor by the name of Victor Hansen Davis talked about his


%26gt;latest book, Mexifornia," explaining how immigratio both legal and


%26gt;illegal was destroying the entire state of California. He said it would


%26gt;march across the country until it destroyed all vestiges of The American


%26gt;Dream.


%26gt;


%26gt;Moments later, former Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm stood up and


%26gt;gave a stunning speech on how to destroy America. The audience sat


%26gt;spellbound as he described eight methods for the destruction of the


%26gt;United States. He said, "If you believe that America is too smug, too


%26gt;self-satisfied, too rich, then let's destroy America. It is not that


%26gt;hard to do. No nation in history has survived the ravages of time.


%26gt;Arnold Toynbee observed that all great civilizations rise and fall and


%26gt;that 'An autopsy of history would show that all great nations commit


%26gt;suicide'"


%26gt;


%26gt;Here is how they do it, " Lamm said:

%26gt;"First, to destroy America, turn America into a bilingual or


%26gt;multilingual and bicultural country." History shows that no nation can


%26gt;survive the tension, conflict, and antagonism of two or more competing


%26gt;languages and cultures. It is a blessing for an individual to be


%26gt;bilingual; however, it is a curse for a society to be bilingual. The


%26gt;historical scholar, Seymour Lipset, put it this way: "The histories of


%26gt;bilingual and bicultural societies that do not assimilate are histories


%26gt;of turmoil, tension, and tragedy." Canada, Belgium, Malaysia, and


%26gt;Lebanon all face crises of national existence in which minorities press


%26gt;for autonomy, if not independence. Pakistan and Cyprus have divided.

%26gt;Nigeria suppressed an ethnic rebellion. France faces difficulties with


%26gt;Basques, Bretons, and Corsicans."

%26gt;Lamm went on:

%26gt;Second, to destroy America, "Invent

%26gt;'multiculturalism' and encourage immigrants to maintain their culture. I


%26gt;would make it an article of belief that all cultures are equal. That


%26gt;there are no cultural differences. I would make it an article of faith


%26gt;that the Black and Hispanic dropout rates are due solely to prejudice


%26gt;and discrimination by the majority. Every other explanation is out of


%26gt;bounds.

%26gt;Third, "We could make the United States an 'Hispanic Quebec' without


%26gt;much effort. The key is to celebrate diversity rather than unity. As


%26gt;Benjamin Schwarz said in the Atlantic Monthly recently: "The apparent


%26gt;success of our own multiethnic and multicultural experiment might have


%26gt;been achieved not by tolerance but by hegemony. Without the dominance


%26gt;that once dictated ethnocentricity and what it meant to be an American,


%26gt;we are left with only tolerance and pluralism to hold us together."

%26gt;Lamm said, "I would encourage all immigrants to keep their own language


%26gt;and culture. I would replace the melting pot metaphor with the salad


%26gt;bowl metaphor.

%26gt;It is important to ensure that we have various cultural subgroups living


%26gt;in America enforcing their differences rather than as Americans,


%26gt;emphasizing their similarities."

%26gt;"Fourth, I would make our fastest growing demographic group the least


%26gt;educated. I would add a second underclass, unassimilated, undereducated,


%26gt;and antagonistic to our population. I would have this second underclass


%26gt;have a 50% dropout rate from high school."

%26gt;"My fifth point for destroying America would be to get big foundations


%26gt;and business to give these efforts lots of money. I would invest in


%26gt;ethnic identity, and I would establish the cult of 'Victimology.' I


%26gt;would get all minorities to think that their lack of success was the


%26gt;fault of the majority. I would start a grievance industry blaming all


%26gt;minority fail urea on the majority population"

%26gt;"My sixth plan for America's downfall would include dual citizenship,


%26gt;and promote divided loyalties. I would celebrate diversity over unity. I

%26gt;is, when they are not killing each other. A diverse, peaceful, or stable


%26gt;society is against most historical precedent. People undervalue the


%26gt;unity it takes to keep a nation together. Look at the ancient Greeks.


%26gt;The Greeks believed that they belonged to the same race; they possessed


%26gt;a common language and literature; and they worshipped the same gods. All


%26gt;Greece took part in the Olympic games. A common enemy, Persia,


%26gt;threatened their liberty. Yet all these bonds were not strong enough to


%26gt;overcome two factors: local patriotism and geographical conditions that


%26gt;nurtured political divisions. Greece fell. "E. Pluribus Unum"


%26gt;


%26gt;-- From many, one. In that historical reality, if we put the emphasis on


%26gt;the 'pluribus'. Instead of the 'Unum,' we will balkanize America as


%26gt;surely as Kosovo."


%26gt;


%26gt;"Next to last, I would place all subjects off limits; make it taboo to


%26gt;talk about anything against the cult of 'diversity.' I would find a word


%26gt;similar to 'heretic' in the 16th century - that stopped discussion and


%26gt;paralyzed thinking. Words like 'racist' or 'xenophobe' halt discussion


%26gt;and debate.


%26gt;


%26gt;Having made America a bilingual/bicultural country, having established


%26gt;multi-culturism, having the large foundations fund the doctrine of


%26gt;'Victimology,' I would next make it impossible to enforce our


%26gt;immigration laws. I would develop a mantra: That because immigration has


%26gt;been good for America, it must always be good. I would make every


%26gt;individual immigrant symmetric and ignore the cumulative impact of


%26gt;millions of them."

%26gt;In the last minute of his speech, Governor Lamm wiped his brow. Profound


%26gt;silence followed.

%26gt;Finally he said, "Lastly, I would censor Victor Hanson Davis's book


%26gt;Mexifornia. His book is dangerous. It exposes the plan to destroy


%26gt;America.

%26gt;If you feel America deserves to be destroyed, don't read that book."

%26gt;There was no applause. A chilling fear quietly rose like an ominous


%26gt;cloud above every attendee at the conference. Every American in that


%26gt;room knew that everything Lamm enumerated was proceeding methodically,


%26gt;quietly, darkly, yet pervasively across the United States today.


%26gt;Discussion is being suppressed. Over 100 languages are ripping the


%26gt;foundation of our educational system and national cohesiveness. Even


%26gt;barbaric cultures that practice female genital mutilation are growing as


%26gt;we celebrate 'diversity.' American jobs are vanishing into the Third


%26gt;World as corporations create a Third World in. America - take note of


%26gt;California and other states - to date, ten million illegal aliens and


%26gt;growing fast. It is reminiscent of George Orwell's book "1984." In that


%26gt;story, three slogans are engraved in the Ministry of Truth building:


%26gt;"War is peace," "Freedom is slavery," and "Ignorance is strength."

%26gt;Governor Lamm walked back to his seat. It dawned on everyone at the


%26gt;conference that our nation and the future of this great democracy is


%26gt;deeply in trouble and worsening fast. If we don't get this immigration


%26gt;monster stopped within three years, it will rage like a California


%26gt;wildfire and destroy everything in i ts path, especially The American


%26gt;Dream.

That one has been blasting around the web for a while now. While the Global Villagers will pooh pooh it as nationlistic propaganda, I think it makes a good point. Assimilation is an important part of immigration in this country. There's nothing wrong with maintaining traditions and cultural ties to a country of origin, but if you are an immigrant, AMERICA IS YOUR HOMELAND NOW!





Australia's Prime Minister, John Howard, has eschewed political correctness to let islamic immigrants know that he expects them to conform to Australia's laws and not sharia law. he has said in plain english that he expects immigrants to learn and then speak english. The U.S. would do well to follow Australia's lead rather than continuing to promote the balkanization of America.





We're supposed to be a melting pot and that's supposed to be one of the reasons we are a great country. If the immigrants don't melt into American society then we're just a bed %26amp; breakfast for foreigners.

Reply:Hey, I won't be so negative, I read the whole thing when someone posted it the other day and I reread it today on your question to make sure I understood everything because I want to know what it happening not just be rude and get 2 points. I think it is a very good statement made and true. Everyone needs to quit coming on here to be hateful and try to work at a solution and see what the people in government are really saying about the problems they bi*ch about daily.
