Is it normal to obsess over such a dream?

Since, as long as I can remember, I've been a huge dreamer

and a huge planner but lately, I have begun to think if it is actually normal to do this?

I am a very analytical person, meaning I analyze everything. I mean EVERYTHING. From the way people move, to expressions peoples face, to times and dates that it happens, I analyze EVERY aspect of things to make sure it all works out.

Well I've been fascinated with England for some time now,

and I find myself literally "obsessing" about it.

I havn't started college yet, but I'm analyzing

the time period it would take to graduate from the college

I want to go to (Which i havn't even been accepted to).

I read everything on the net about moving from US to Uk,

I have read books and studied how homes work there.

Now this is the part that scares me, I began to look up

at monster.com Game Programmer Salaries. I converted that to pounds and began making accounts of homes and accessories I would like to have. Is this normal to be so excited?

Is it normal to obsess over such a dream?
Goodness, it's nothing to worry about. It's a very good thing to be analytical- I am too- and though sometimes it may get on peoples nerves, you'll be th one prepared while others fall on their face. It's expensive to live in England, and money is waaayyyyy different than it is in the US. It's good to be prepared for everything. Maybe even try taking a few french lessons. I try to learn almost everything about places that I go, so I pretty much know it as if I'd been there a million times before. It's good to be like you, and you'll go far if you keep it up.
Reply:ENGLAND IS DIFFERENT NOW THAN HOW IT USED TO BE SOME YEARS AGO..I HOPE OUR READING UP TO DATE STUFF...THERES FAR TOO MANT IMMIGRANTS IN UK..ITS NOT GREAT ANY MORE..ALSO ALOT OF PPL GET DRUNK IN THE TOWNS AS THERE ARE MANY MANY PUBS AND START FIGHTING..UNLESS YOUVE GOT FAMILY OVER THERE..ID SAVE YOURE PLANS UNTILL YOUR QUITE A LOT OLDER AND WISER
Reply:Nope. Abnormal.

Reply:well i dont know where yor moving from but from the u.s. it's a long way from home the law's are different and you probably dont know anyone to travel with a compainion is one thing but to up and leave your country alone you had better be really cautious...
Reply:Fine go on--'git!
Reply:It's very expensive to live in England, and you must remember you can't work there, you aren't a citizen. So you would need enough money from loans to support yourself.

i wanted to do something like that too when I was your age.... i got over it... now i live in japan, but i didn't pay for it, and i don't have to work.... i can't anyway. I can only work for the US embassy, which i don't want to so.
Reply:You are young, do it now while you still can. If you don't at least try to go to school over there, you'll wind up going to college here in the US, then getting a job and you'll never have time to live in England! Do it now while you still can!

And yes, I think it's perfectly fine to have a dream like your's. Life would suck without dreams!

Good luck!
Reply:Lol, nothing wrong with someone who's prepared.
